Three central solenoid magnet modules have been aligned in their final position on the assembly stack at the ITER facility in southern France. The fourth module is on site and is being prepared for positioning on the stack this month. A specialized friction lift is used to lift and position each of the 110-tonne modules into place. The remaining two modules for the stack are expected to be delivered by the end of 2025.  For recent assembly updates, see https://www.iter.org/project/tokamak-assembly.
